Nick is the Portfolio Manager for Vector Capital's Credit Strategy. Nick has been a senior member of Vector's Credit Strategy for the majority of its lifetime. Since joining in 2011, he sourced and led an initial credit investment in Technicolor, which later facilitated the private equity minority investment. Nick currently serves on the Board of Directors of Travelex and Reconext. Nick’s areas of expertise include software, marketing, media, and technology-enabled services as well as certain vertical markets, such as education and defense.

Nick came to Vector with both private and public market investing experience. Prior to Vector Capital, Nick was at Eastern Advisors, a long/short Tiger hedge fund. While at Eastern, Nick worked in the public markets, but also helped raise and lead the initial investments in an associated private fund focused on early stage technology companies. Previously, Nick was a Senior Associate at Veritas Capital, a middle market private equity firm where he completed several transactions focused on technology driven aerospace, defense, and government services companies. While at Veritas, Nick served as a board observer to Aeroflex.

Prior to Veritas Capital, Nick was an Associate at the Cypress Group, where he focused on leveraged buyouts in the aerospace, defense, and industrials sectors. Previously, Nick was an Analyst in the Industrials group at Lehman Brothers where he executed over $5.5 billion in advisory and financing activities resulting in 10 closed transactions.

Nick received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business. He also holds a B.A. in Economics and German from Tufts University.
