Ahmed Makani joined Vector Capital as an Associate in 2009.
Prior to Vector, Ahmed worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Industrials Group at Goldman Sachs in New York. While at Goldman Sachs, Ahmed worked on several advisory and financing transactions in the Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, HVAC and Waste and Environmental Management Services space. His primary clients included Johnson Controls, Textron, Clean Harbors, Goodman Global, and Powell Industries.
Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year, Ahmed graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a double major in Economics & Mathematics and International Studies.
